Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers have endured underwhelming starts to the season - both have failed to win, Bolton only scored for the first time on Saturday, and both currently sit in the Championship relegation zone.

Wanderers have strengthened this week, adding two new full-backs in the form of former Cagliari man Francesco Pisano and former Barcelona youth product Jose Manuel Casado, who last played for La Liga side Almeria. Defence has been the main positive of Wanderers' early season form, and that should be enhanced by the additions of Pisano, Casado and fellow new signing Derik Osede, who also isn't available tonight. Where they've struggled is hitting the net, with Stephen Dobbie's injury time equaliser breaking a ten hour, near seven match goal drought against Nottingham Forest at the weekend.

Both sides enjoyed home wins against their rivals last season, with Wanderers beating Blackburn 2-1 at the Macron on Boxing Day thanks to goals from Emile Heskey and Darren Pratley, and Jordan Rhodes scoring an injury time winner in the return fixture.

Neil Lennon makes one change from the Forest win, with Liam Feeney replacing Tom Walker on the right wing. Walker drops out of the squad completely, and Casado comes in to make the bench for the first time.

Blackburn welcome back Jordan Rhodes for the Lancashire derby after two games out with injury. The hosts line up in a 4-4-2 formation with Nathan Delfouneso starting alongside Rhodes, and plenty of threat in wide positions from Ben Marshall and Craig Conway, with Swansea City loanee Modou Barrow on the bench alongside former Bolton loanee Danny Guthrie.

Here are tonight's starting lineups. Stay up to date with all the events from Ewood Park and let us know your thoughts on all things Wanderers in the Comments section below.
