Transfer Gossip: QPR Bid for Tim Ream

ESPN is reporting that Queens Park Rangers have had a £1 million bid for Bolton Wanderers defender Tim Ream rejected.

The American has twice been our player of the year and has just come back from the Gold Cup with the USMNT, he has attracted praise from American 'soccer' fans and clearly Rangers. The centre half/left back, depending on your school of thought, would strengthen a weak QPR defence after they lost Steven Caulker, Richard Dunne and Rio Ferdinand this summer.

We're in the eye of a shit storm here, folks. Its brilliant that it has been turned down, I can only hope that QPR go away rather than increase their offering price. £1 million is a lot of money to us so Lennon clearly values Ream as a player. Money isn't a problem for QPR and so, if Ream does end up going, he could get a healthy fee to gather funds for Francesco Pisano and a replacement for Ream.

I don't need to tell you how disappointing it would be to see him go, however, he's a fan favourite.

Do what you do best and start a fight in the comments about whether he is a better left back or centre back. Long live 'Reeaamm'.
