Bolton Wanderers have at long last announced a triple-threat of signings with the rather expected trio of strikers Stephen Dobbie and Emile Heskey and full back Lawrie Wilson.
The strike duo have both signed one-year contracts with the club while Wilson has committed himself to the club for two years, these signings come as no particular surprise to any Wanderers fan and serve as a true example of Bolton's financial restrictions.
Dobbie and Wilson have both impressed in pre-season with Heskey effectively extending his playing career at Wanderers where he only managed to score once in sixteen appearances for the club, the striker resigning however; comes with no complaints from this particular BWFC fan. Dobbie has also gotten his name on the scoresheet in pre-season which may also ease some of our attacking worries with newcomer Madine also getting in amongst the goals.
What are your thoughts on these signings? Do you think we could have signed someone better? Let us know!
