Bolton Wanderers have completed the signing of Ronaldo. The player in question is Ronaldo Pearson, and he's joined the club as a 'first year scholar,' which we understand probably makes him 16 years old.
Young Ronaldo is a striker - of course he is - and made an appearance for a Bolton Wanderers XI side that ran out 2-1 victors over Ramsbottom United last night, replacing Enock Likoy-Elumba with eight minutes remaining.

Club journalist Daniel Houlker (@DHoulker_BWFC) confirmed Young Ronaldo's signing to LOVS this morning, and we understand he's part of a group of players that have graduated to Wanderers' youth academy.
We know absolutely nothing else about Young Ronaldo - except that he's on Twitter @Ronaldo_Pearson but hasn't tweeted since January, and he recently posted a photo of his (presumably new) Bolton training kit on Facebook.
But we love his name and we'll look forward to tracking his progress in the youth team - and frankly anything that gets more people down to watch our youngsters has to be a bonus.
Welcome to Bolton Wanderers, Young Ronaldo!
