We Predict the First Six: Liam

In perhaps the most important of our predictions, I have called the fortunes of our mighty Wanderers in the the opening six fixtures of the Championship season. Despite being perhaps the biggest maverick amongst the LOV contributors, I have been relegated far down the order due to late submission as Chris Manning runs a tight ship, or blog website.

Here it is, assuming you are not bored of these by now:

1) Bolton Wanderers 1 v 1 Derby County

Very dificult opener but I have seen far too many clubs take Derby's approach at throwing money at promotion, I don't particulary rate their signings either and I expect them to continue their dismal run at the back end of last season into this one.

Having said that, I don't think we are quite there either and I can't see any other result but a 1-1 draw.

2) Middlesbrough 3 v 0 Bolton Wanderers

Horrible game which is perhaps bottom of everyones list to go to. Boro, much like Derby, have thrown money at promotion and despite spending an incredible £5 million to lure old boy Stewart Downing back to the Riverside theu continue to be linked with Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes.

We will get whacked.

3) MK Dons 1 v 2 Bolton Wanderers

Horrible history-theiving Franchised scumbags. The first meeting with these should give Bolton Wanderers their first win of the season and one of few I expect us to pick up on the road all season.

I can't predict what will happen as in truth I'm winging this anyway by guessing scores.

4) Bolton Wanderers 2 v 0 Nottingham Forest

Still can't quite believe that Dougie Freedman managed to get this job and whilst I don't hold any grudge to Freedman and wish him luck, I don't see based on our away record under the Scot how he can transform an under-performing Forest side

5) Blackburn Rovers 0 v 5 Bolton Wanderers

Why not eh?

6) Bolton Wanderers 1 v 1 Wolverhampton Wanderers

We will be strong at home all season and personally I see Wolves as the surprise package of the season.

1-1 which perfectly reflects my sit on the fence approach to this one, I'm sorry I just don't know alright.

Stop judging me
