Live Blog: Transfer Deadline Day

We cover deadline day... for some reason.

Hello there and welcome. It's the 1st of September, it's Transfer Deadline Day and here we are, on the vague chance that anything will happen at Bolton Wanderers today, with a live blog to cover it.

18:03: For god sake. Just when I thought I was done. Marc Iles is reporting that a potential outgoing from BWFC could yet still be finalised. Here's hoping it's Medo. Any updates will be on lionofviennasuite.com.

18:01: I've been Dan Murphy (@Murbroski), thanks to Rob (@Robilaz) and Alastair (@Alastair3141) for their help during the day. I'm just glad I can finally get that blabbering burke off my telly.

18:00: So that's it. The window closes to put an end to an incredibly boring Deadline Day. Bolton were unable to bring in a striker, so it's all on the loan window that open September 8th.

17:55: Five minutes to go...

17:50: Going in to the last 10 minutes now. Thank god this thing is nearly over.

17:45: Phew. At least Wigan won't be signing James Vaughn.

17:32: Less than half an hour to go and nothing to report, I'm afraid. The loan window it is.

13:28PM: So, with four and a half hours left and Bolton still apparently trying to bring in a striker, here's who we've been linked with: Ricardo Vaz Te, James Wilson, James Vaughn, Yann Kermogant, Nick Powell, Giorgios Samaras and 'Someone from West Brom'. I doubt any of them are true, but it's nice to hear rumblings at least.

13:11PM: No, but then yes. The freed wages from Ream's departure went on Pisano, Silva and Casado. The transfer fee we got for Ream went on bills and running the club. We have no cash in the slightest.

13:09PM: I just nearly fell asleep but I've been saved as we finally have some gossip. Medo Kamara, remember him? Well, he's once again been linked with a move back to his former club FK Partizan. Also, Bolton are one of the many clubs being linked with a loan move for Bournemouth's Yann Kermogant. It will never happen, but it'd be a great signing.

12:43PM: After signing some no mark from Nantes, Chelsea are now signing Reading's Michael Hector. What on Earth is going on?!

12:20PM: And speaking of former BWFC targets, Leicester City's Liam Moore has signed for Bristol City on loan.

12:19PM: Rumours suggesting that Huddersfield Town are about to release Adam Hamill.

12:17PM: Seems as if West Ham United are being the busiest team today. They've signed Nickicia Jelevic, Alex Song and Victor Moses. With rumours that they're still interested in Michail Antonio too.
