This here tweet from the very well followed (37k!) @GFN_France Twitter account has just been brought to my attention...
Blackburn Rovers & Bolton Wanderers have made loan offers for Clarck N'Sikulu, but Evian want a straight transfer http://t.co/OdrYCYlivz

Now, make of that what you will.
As you can see it mentions a 'straight transfer' which one presumes means that the 23-year old French-born Congolese striker will cost money. Which we all know we don't have.
For those wondering, no doubt all of you, Clarck N'Sikulu is a striker playing for now Ligue 2 side, Evian.
He joined Evian from Lille January 2012, and in 54 appearances for his club he's scored a grand total of eight goals.
One of them being the opener in a 2-0 victory over Paris Saint Germain.
Any deal seems extremely unlikely and also appears to hinge on whether the club can ship top earned Medo Kamara out on loan. But a relative unknown from Europe has been Lennon's style this summer and him bringing a final one in on deadline day wouldn't be too surprising.
