Remember Marvin?

Marvin Sordell, ex Watford, Bolton and England U-21 striker, has had his contract cancelled at Burnley.

He was signed for a fee believed to be £500,000 in the same summer as Lukas Jutkiewicz. He made 17 appearances for the club and scored once, against Tottenham Hotspur in the cup. He failed to score a single goal for his club in the league.

Bolton Wanderers signed Sordell from Watford in the January of our relegation season for an undisclosed fee.

During his time at the Whites, he made 25 appearances and scored 4 goals, most notably a brace against Sunderland in the FA Cup.

He was sent out on loan to Charlton Athletic and scored a hatrick, scoring 7 in 31 appearances.

The now 24-year old was linked with a move back to the club but all transfers rest on whether Medo is loaned to either FK Partizan or Bristol City.

I wouldn't want him back as he was on expensive wages and barely played during his 2 and a half year stint. Would you? Let us know in the comments.
