Bolton Wanderers v Sheffield Wednesday - MOTM: Dean Moxey

Well done to our resurgent left back who was excellent yet again

Bolton Wanderers and Sheffield Wednesday battled hard to a 0-0 result last night at the Reebok Stadium on a mild September evening.

Following on from our excellent performance on Saturday in beating Wolverhampton Wanderers it was perhaps a little much for us to expect the same again against a tough Wednesday side.

Wanderers standout men included Neil Danns, Derik Osede and Wellington Silva, on loan from Arsenal.

However, man of the match by MILES was ex-Crystal Palace and Derby County left-back Dean Moxey.

Moxey was signed by spawn of the devil himself Dougie Freedman and endured a tough debut season at the club - though has excelled at the start of this one.

Tenacious in the tackle and always keen to help his attacker on the run, Moxey dominated the left hand side of the pitch and was absolutely superb for the majority of the game. He, along with the rest of the team, struggled in the first 20 minutes, but grew into the game and is well deserving of our award of some e-champagne.
