It's safe to say this has not been a good week for anyone associated with Bolton Wanderers.
As if seeing the side only just salvage a draw at non-league Eastleigh wasn't bad enough, off-field matters have got everyone down in the dumps or just pure plain angry.
Tonight Wanderers make the short trip into Yorkshire to face Sheffield Wednesday, who are unbeaten in 11 home league matches. So it seems unlikely the team will help lighten moods this evening, indeed you can get 9/2 on Bolton to win!
One positive seems to be that we won't have to face Mark Davies this evening, as his move to Wednesday appears to have been snagged by his wage demands.
Team News
Sheffield Wednesday
Top scorer Fernando Forestieri may miss out with a muscle strain, so Gary Hooper may start despite being set to return to Norwich City in the next few days.
Goalkeeper Kieren Westwood is expected to miss out, with Joe Wildsmith on standby to replace him, while Jack Hunt and yellow card-happy Sam Hutchinson are likely to return.
Bolton Wanderers
Mark Davies and Zach Clough are again expected to miss out thanks to the Bolton fire sale, while rumours surrounding Josh Vela's future at the club could also see him forced to be unavailable to Neil Lennon. Cue the return of super Liam Trotter.
On the injury front, Prince has apparently picked up a knock in the last few days and Emile Heskey will again miss out. Derik Osede appears likely to make a return from the wilderness, and Lennon may have a decision to make about whether to give youngster Kaiyne Woolery his first-team chance.
