Transfer Gossip: Charlton after Bolton Wanderers winger Liam Feeney

According to a story published by Sky Sports (link here), Charlton Athletic have started talks with Bolton Wanderers over the signing of Liam Feeney.

Feeney, 29, who joined the club on a free from Millwall FC in 2014, has so far played 78 games for Bolton, scoring 7 goals. Four of those goals coming this season. Feeney also had a brief loan spell at the Reebok back in 2013.

Whether or not Feeney would want to move to a fellow relegation rival remains to be seen.

In other news, U18 regular Alex Samizadeh has been spotted at Derby County's training ground, prompting speculation that the Rams could well be interested in the young Iranian.

Samizadeh, moved to Bolton in 2014 after spells with Curzon Ashton and Manchester City. Still only 17, he has scored 14 goals for David Lee's U18s this season, whilst also scoring 3 goals for the U21s in a handful of appearances.
