Bolton Wanderers Starting Line-up
1 Ben Amos 6 - Looked solid but perhaps could have done better with Huddersfield's first. Hardly culpable though.
45 Rob Holding 5 - Comfortable in possession but perhaps naive at times, could have cost Bolton a couple of times distributing the ball too slowly.
2 Gouano 7 - Prince's improvised defending this week seemed to work, wouldn't hold my breath for sustained success however with his child-like technique.
31 Wheater 6 - Bailed out the Wanderers' midfield constantly and is becoming perhaps the key player in the Bolton team. Stop messing around and make him captain.
3 Moxey 5 - Game of two halves for Moxey who had the dangerous Scannell in his pocket but was unable to handle Patterson when he came on in the second half. Will have perhaps wanted a better performance in his last game for Bolton.
21 Pratley 4 - Awful, dominated from start to finish and was the grim reaper for almost all positive Bolton play as he continued to give the ball away. One of the players that needs to ask themselves are they doing enough given our plight.
6 Vela 5 - Not Vela's best game and seemed to give way to Mark Davies to become the fulcrum of the team despite playing out on the left. Vela has struggled for form throughout the year and given our position it is tricky to turn that around
7 Feeney 5 - Feeney has fallen into the trap of sticking to what he's good at. The problem is now that opponents know and his already minimal effect is decreasing every game. Numerous times he ignored an overlap from Rob Holding which would have given Wanderers some much needed variation in attack. 5 is maybe harsh but I couldn't give such basic play a 6.
10 Clough 5 - Quiter game for the boy-wonder, probably because he was marked out the game. Started to come deeper to try and get into the game which unfortunately further hindered Vela.
16 Davies 6 - A lot of gusto from Mark Davies which of course is pleasing to see. The man linked with a move to Middlesbrough was a genuine threat and if he keeps up those sort of effort levels, he will be an important player for Bolton Wanderers once more.
14 Madine 5 - Completely invisible. The big forward only comes to life when Dean Moxey has the ball in his hands. The trouble is Gary, the Blackburn game was on Sky and every club in the league is now aware of that long-throw. It is time to do everything else a target-man should be doing.

22 Wellington 3 - Unbelievably poor, has the attitude of a player who has already made it. You haven't son, you're playing for Bolton Wanderers and pulling up no trees doing so.
