Twenty-three years ago Bolton Wanderers took on Gretna FC - who sadly dissolved back in 2008 - in the first round of the FA Cup, then progressed to the quarter-finals of the competition beating Premier League opponents Arsenal en route.
Tonight Bolton's name will be back in the hat at this stage for the first time since taking on the Scottish minnows - just five-and-a-half years on from being humilated by Stoke City in the semi-finals of the competition.
Interestingly, Bolton have actually been drawn against non-league opponents the last four times they've been in the first round of the FA Cup. They defeated Gretna 3-2 back in November 1993, having beaten Sutton Coldfield Town 2-1 in 1992, Emley 3-0 in 1991, and come out on top 2-1 against Witton Albion in 1990.
The draw begins at 7pm tonight, and the number to watch out for from a Bolton perspective will be 5. We're joined by teams like ninth-tier Herefordshire-based minnows Westfields (ball 62), Alex Samizadeh's old club Curzon Ashton (ball 60, pending a replay with York City) and Merstham (ball 72, and nope never heard of them either).
We'll bring you the draw - including revealing Bolton's first round opponents for next month - in the Comments section below. Feel free to get involved!
