As reported in The Sun this morning, former Everton midfielder Leon Osman could be on his way to Bolton Wanderers.
Osman, 35, is a free agent after leaving Goodison Park over the Summer. Osman played over 400 times for Everton in a sixteen year spell, and has also been capped twice for England.
The article in The Sun stated:
VETERAN Leon Osman is ready to sign for Bolton to help them out of a nosedive.
The former Everton midfielder is a free agent and willing to agree terms with Phil Parkinson’s club.
Osman was hoping to find a home by now but is still available. And Wanderers need extra bodies after their promotion push faltered.
Many Wanderers have voiced their discontent at new boss Phil Parkinson’s style of play and team selections following the club’s recent decline.
Despite links to West Brom and Rangers, veteran Osman looks to be heading here.
