Well what a way to bounce back from two losses on the trot. Fair enough only one of those was in the league, it's still important that we've stopped any possible rot.

What was particularly pleasing about this result was the performance from the Wanderers. We didn't just win. We got our win in style. Every player played their part.

Many were a bit nervous with no David Wheater in the squad today. He and Beevers ave made a formidable partnership at the back. Derik stepped in and did a fine job. Kept Millwall quiet and also managed to play a bit more from the back than Wheats and Beevers did. Spearing came in for Thorpe which was great to see and Alnwick was in for the injured Howard. Spearing made such a difference. The midfield passed Millwall to death and that was in no small part down to Spearing marshalling the midfield. Taylor had a wonderful game. As did Vela. As did Ameobi as did pretty much all of them. I really don't envy the poor sod who is picking man of the match today. There's 3 or 4 candidates who could all claim it fairly.

At the start of the game I will confess to being one of those unsure if we would be able to get a positive result, but Parky has shown his able to shake this team up and get us back on track when we falter. That is something no other manager has ever shown in recent years. All have managed good form but none have ever been able to find the consistency that Parky has.

The first goal was a stunning long range strike from Josh Vela who is looking every bit the attacking midfielder and more that Kevin Nolan did. The second goal came from substitute, Tom Thorpe with a brilliant bullet header from a corner. Millwall rarely, if at all threatened Ben Alnwick.

I fucking love this. Come on Wanderers you wonderful bastards!
