Bolton Chairman Anderson Cancels Fan Q&A

Hands up who saw this coming

In a move that surprised nobody, it was tonight officially revealed that the proposed fan Q&A held with club chairman Ken Anderson was cancelled.

The reason given was the superbly titled 'high level talks' which says a lot without saying anything at all.

Bolton Wanderers fans are used to being let down but this is another matter altogether. Most supporters attending were hoping to get some insight into the workings of Anderson and Holdsworth, but instead we are left with more questions and the prospect of seeing any answers being given at a vague 'future date'.

Obviously as supporters we appreciate that there is a need for talks to take place to ensure our ongoing viability but the late cancellation of the meeting will no doubt give rise to conspiracy theorists across the internets.

Indeed as late as 4pm today the following was posted on the club's official homepage:

Aside from matters on the field, I’d like to take this opportunity to remind you all of the evening with myself which will take place in the Platinum Suite tomorrow night.

Running from 7pm until 8pm, I want to give you, the supporters, the chance to put forward any questions you may have for myself so that we can build upon and strengthen the relationship between us.

I hope as many of you as possible can attend and I look forward to meeting some of our fans which have been influential in the team’s successes so far this season.

Curious eh?

Let me know your thoughts below the line.
