On the back of two consecutive wins, Bolton Wanderers head to Sixfields this weekend to take on Northampton Town. Northampton, who haven't won in the league since the end of October, will look to win to push up the table and into the top half. This will be the first time Bolton and Northampton have met in the league since February 1990, a game that Bolton won 2-0. The two sides have only faced eleven times, with both teams claiming five wins each.
A win for Bolton could see them leap Sheffield United in the table and move into the automatic promotion places.
Phil Parkinson will probably keep an unchanged side for this weekend's game. Liam Trotter is back from suspension, whilst David Wheater and Max Clayton may make the bench.
Sam Hoskins and Lewin Nyatanga are major doubts for the game, whilst defender Zander Diamond has undergone surgery on his fractured cheekbone. Former Wanderer Matt Taylor is in line to start against his former side.
