FA Cup: Bolton Wanderers v Grimsby Town: LIVE

Wanderers' first FA Cup first round match for 23 years pits them against League Two Grimsby

18-year-old Alex Perry makes his full debut for Bolton Wanderers today

The FA Cup is back, albeit at an earlier stage of the season than we've been used to for a very, very long time. Bolton Wanderers haven't entered the famous old competition in the first round since back in 1993, but do so today against League Two side Grimsby Town.

Wanderers make a few changes for the occasion including a full debut for 18-year-old midfielder Alex Perry, who we expect to play in the centre of midfield alongside Liam Trotter, with Jay Spearing and Derik Osede both sidelined through injury. Jamie Proctor and Chris Taylor return to the starting line-up in place of Gary Madine and the in-form Josh Vela, who aren't even on the bench. Max Clayton makes a welcome return from yet another long injury lay-off by taking his place on the bench.

Grimsby look to be playing a 4-4-2, with big man Omar Bogle, who scored goals for fun in non-league football, leading the line alongside Scott Vernon. Former Stoke and Sunderland defender Danny Collins leads the defence, while they have 40-year-old player/coach and sub goalkeeper Andy Warrington on the bench.

Here are today's starting line-ups, and we'll bring you live updates in the Comments section below.
