Bolton Wanderers today make their first ever visit to Chesterfield’s Proact Stadium, which only opened in 2010. This is also Bolton’s first visit to Chesterfield in the league since March 1989, and on that occasion the two sides drew 1-1.
Wanderers go into the clash in fine form, and name an unchanged squad from the side that defeated Gillingham 4-0 on Monday evening.
Today’s hosts have Ched Evans leading their line, and seem likely to pack the midfield as they line up in a 4-5-1 formation. Chesterfield have won two of their last three league games, having lost their previous nine but leaked five goals at Peterborough United last weekend.
