It's always tough to dish out a man of the match award when the Whites have failed to pick up points, particularly away from home, but on this occasion I've decided to give it to Rob Holding.
This lad oozes cool. He's 20 years old and his performances are completely eclipsing those of players with years more experience than him. He's had at least three different central defensive partners this season, all of which can learn something from him. If Dean Holdsworth's Sports Shield consortium manage to successfully take over the club, one of their first acts of management authority has to be giving him a new deal. Along with Zach Clough, Josh Vela, Max Clayton and Kaiyne Woolery, he is undoubtedly the future of our football club; a future that we must preserve as quickly as possible.
I hope to see him ripping it up at the Macron for many more years to come.
Love you, Rob x
