A glimmer of hope for Bolton Wanderers?

Liam found himself at the seaside on Saturday afternoon enjoying a jolly-boys trip to Blackpool. On the schedule of drunken festivities was the Tangerines home tie vs Bradford City where Liam positioned himself in the away-end among the Yorkshire cave-dwelling contingent. In a truthfully forgotten twist, Liam was surprised to see Bolton loanee Hayden White in the Blackpool line-up and Liam was shocked to see the performance that followed ..

The first thing that really strikes you when you see Hayden is his physique. The man is huge and his filled out tremendously and cuts an impressive figure in defence. He looks like an Olympic sprinter and his athletic ability is genuinely eye catching.

All the basics are there, White is tall and uses it to good effect. His most prominent athletic ability is his pace, Hayden White is very fast and causes also sorts of problems when he wants to.

Hayden White is shaping up to a real quality fullback. The Wanderers loanee was genuinely solid in defence and Bradford all but abandoned attacking down their left due to the dominance of White in that area.

White dispossessed Kyel Reid on countless occasions as the prominent winger was restricted to less than a handful of crosses all afternoon.

From a defensive aspect, the most impressive part of his game is his patience, he rarely dives in, knowing his pace will see him win the ball on his feet more often than not.

As an attacking full back, the skills available to White are not in short supply. His sheer pace sees him far more dangerous than the average League One full-back and if he can sort his crossing out he can go far. He isn't afraid to go and try and beat a man and looks  a very good prospect for Bolton Wanderers.

The best news is his contact is up in the summer.

Fuck you football.
