Owen Coyle has got his, no doubt short, reign of terror as manager at Blackburn Rovers off to a great start as he's signed winger Liam Feeney on a free transfer, as the former White has somehow managed to bag himself another Championship club.
The 29-year old was released from Bolton Wanderers after making 78 appearances in two years at the Macron Stadium. The versatile forward spent the latter half of last season on loan at Ipswich Town, making seven appearances and scoring a single goal, but the Tractor Boys opted not to sign him on a permanent basis.
Feeney rejoins the club he spent time on loan at in 2014, as he went to Ewood Park after his initial loan spell at Wanderers and played six times for Rovers.
The winger, who scored eight goals during his time in Bolton, often came in for heavy criticism from Bolton supporters for frustrating nature, especially when it came to crossing the ball into the penalty area. However, something that can never be taken away from the Fiend was his excellent work rate.
