Bolton Wanderers' 2016/2017 away kit unveiled

New, comments

Wanderers have finally released this year's away kit

This morning, Bolton Wanderers released this year's away kit.

''The shirt is two shades of sky blue, with the front featuring an embroidered whiteout version of the club’s crest features, alongside the logos of kit manufacturers Macron and principal shirt sponsors Spin and Win.

On the back of the shirt ‘BWFC 1877’ is embroidered on the neckline whilst the club’s logo is embossed in the lower section.

The shirt once again makes use of Macron’s MPerformance System fabric and features shoulder and side panel micromesh inserts for maximum breathability.''
It's very Lazio/Coventry City-esque.

Macron follow in the footsteps of Umbro, Matchwinner and Reebok by releasing a sky blue Wanderers shirt. Umbro were the first back in 1985 with this effort, which is not too dissimilar to this season's shirt.

Matchwinner then released their sky blue effort in the late 80's:

Bolton were last seen in sky blue back in the 2004/2005 season, when Wanderers reached 6th in the Premier League and qualified for the Uefa Cup.

Wanderers' new away shirt is now available to pre-order, and will be on sale from the 13th August at Bolton Central.

The adult shirt is priced at £44.99, with junior shirts available at £34.99. As with the home shirt, the junior shirts and those worn by the club’s academy sides will not feature the Spin and Win logo.
