Hot on the heels of the arrivals of Sammy Ameobi, Ben Alnwick, Keshi Anderson and James Henry, Bolton Wanderers have added Tom Thorpe to their ranks.
A product of the youth academy of Manchester United, Thorpe was loaned out to Championship club Birmingham City in 2014.
He was called into the Manchester United first team in September 2014 and made his Premier League debut shortly after.
Thorpe has represented England at all youth levels from England U16 to England U21, winning the 2010 UEFA European Under-17 Championship.
He had a loan spell at Bradford City last season under present Bolton boss Phil Parkinson, and it will surely rustle a few jimmies over in Bradford to hear that their former player has followed Parky to Bolton.
With a few injuries in his past, Wanderers will surely be hoping that the former United utility man can step up and offer his versatility for the cause.
