Having not scored in three games and having not won in seven, Bolton Wanderers will be looking to get back on track this weekend against Oxford United at the Macron. Oxford, who were promoted from League Two last season, are four points off Bolton in 16th place. This will be the first time the two teams have played each other since the 1998/1999 season, when both games ended in draws.
Gary Madine and Mark Beevers are back in contention after recovering from a groin injury and a virus respectively. Lawrie Wilson looks set to keep his place at right back, with Lewis Buxton out with a knee injury.
Former Everton starlet Ryan Ledson has been ruled out for at least six weeks after he tore the cartilage in his right knee ahead of the 2-1 defeat against Southend on Tuesday. Cutris Nelson, Christian Ribeiro and former Wanderer Rob Hall are United's long term absentees.
