Listen to #LOVpod Episode 62 Now!

All positive

After the madness of last week's episode, as Bolton Wanderers managed to sign five players on deadline day, the Lion of Vienna Suite Podcast returns to a relative level of normalcy this week.

Dan is joined by DowntheMannyRd Tom and the returning Chris to talk all things Wanderers this week and even touch on Big Sam Allardyce's first match in charge of the England international team.

The lads, all of which attended Saturday's stalemate with Southend United, discussed the game in great depth. Discussing the system that Parkinson is implementing, the stylish pass and move football they played, the diamond formation and how, even though we should have won the game, they didn't come away from the Macron Stadium on Saturday disappointed.

The trio then discussed the performances of every player and they were all very impressed with new boys James Henry, Keshi Anderson and Sammy Ameobi. Not forgetting the brilliant Jay Spearing and Mark Beevers. Dean Moxey, not so much.

Before closing the group talked about how great it is seeing Big Sam win his first game as England boss and what they want to see from him in the future.
