Last week, there were murmurings on twitter that Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Lewis McGugan could be heading on loan to our beloved Bolton Wanderers. There was also plenty of discussion about the topic on OwlsTalk, a Wednesday fan forum.
Now it seems that there may be something in the rumours, with journalist Alan Biggs tweeting a loan move could well happen.
Keep seeing Lewis McGugan linked with Bolton &, from what I hear, with some substance. Loan possibility. #swfc #bwfc

Lewis McGugan, now 28, has spent his entire career playing in the Football League with Nottingham Forest, Watford and Sheffield Wednesday. Known for scoring some incredible goals from distance, including one against Bolton whilst playing for Forest back in 2012.
There's no doubt McGugan is very talented and on his day, would prove to be a player of real value for Bolton, especially in League One. He's well known for scoring plenty of goals from midfield, something Bolton have relied on this season.
However, McGugan has garnered the reputation of someone who can be disruptive in the dressing room, falling out players and coaching staff.
Is Lewis McGugan worth the risk? Is he the man to help get Wanderers promoted? Let us know in the comments box below.
