Welcome to the third episode in this week-long saga. I am intending on redressing some of the balance where I have perhaps been a bit down on certain Bolton Wanderers players in the past.
Yesterday was the turn of our captain Darren Pratley - now it's the turn of Liam Trotter.
A midfield powerhouse, Liam Trotter is affectionately nicknamed 'Yaya Trotter' by members of the Wanderers fanbase. It is a well deserved nickname. Our man, much like the Manchester City version is blessed with a lethargic manner which sometimes leads to accusations of being lazy, but in reality is merely hiding a beast contained within.
Capable of fantastic long-range strikes, Trotter cleverly keeps his powerful arsenal in reserve just waiting for the right moment to strike.
Whilst on occasion he has maybe flattered to deceive, his potential is obvious to all and he is a very useful member of our squad.
Liam - we salute you.
