After a short break for the Southend United game, this series returned with a grateful appraisal of Liam Trotter yesterday - now it's the turn of Jamie Proctor to be viewed through the wonderful prism of 'Let's Say Something Nice About.....'
Signed by Bolton Wanderers boss Phil Parkinson following a successful period spent together at Bradford City, former Preston North End forward Proctor has dealt manfully with being second choice behind Gary Madine as our main striker.
Honoured with the no.9 shirt made famous by Ebi Smolarek, the Preston-born Proctor has never let the club down when called upon to support or replace Madine, Zach Clough or Sammy Ameobi.
He excels in running the wide channels, and is a constant pest for defenders up and down League One.
A desperately unselfish centre forward, Jamie Proctor is a manager's dream and this is borne out by the responsibility thrust upon him by Parky when the going gets touch.
Jamie - top man. We say thank you for everything.
