Bolton Wanderers finally picked up their first league win of the season last weekend and today offers a first opportunity to beat a Championship team other than Sheffield Wednesday.

A second home game on the bounce sees Queens Park Rangers make the trip north to Macron Stadium. This is a great opportunity for Wanderers to pick up another three points, given the visitors have gone six games without a win and haven’t won an away league match since February. They’ve also dropped 10 points from winning positions in away matches - unsurprisingly the most in the league this season.

Wanderers’ recent record against QPR isn't great, losing three of their last four clashes against Rangers despite losing just one of the previous ten.

Phil Parkinson unsurprisingly sticks with the same eleven that started last weekend, meaning Sammy Ameobi and Adam Armstrong retain their wide roles alongside Josh Vela supporting the big man Gary Madine. Karl Henry faces his old side in midfield alongside David Wheater.

The visitors look to be going with a 4-4-2, with the horrible Jamie Mackie leading the line alongside Idrissa Sylla and former Bolton man Alex Baptiste in their defence.

You can follow all the action from the Macron in the Comments section below. Feel free to get involved with your thoughts on all things Wanderers.
