According to HITC Sport, Bolton Wanderers are one of three clubs interested in signing Plymouth Argyle midfielder Toumani Diagouraga.

The article from HITC states:

"A number of clubs are weighing up a move for Plymouth midfielder Toumani Diagouraga when the transfer window reopens next month, HITC Sport understands.

Bolton Wanderers are interested in Diagouraga as they look to secure survival in the Championship with Phil Parkinson a big fan of the all-action midfielder, while Plymouth's League One rivals Portsmouth and Shrewsbury Town are keeping tabs on the 30-year-old as they look to bolster their midfield options in the New Year."

Toumani Diagouraga, 30, is definitely a journeyman in England. After starting his youth career with PSG, Diagouraga moved to Watford FC. Since then he has gone on to play for Hereford United, Peterborough United, Brentford, Leeds United and Plymouth.

The Frenchman has clocked up over 400 appearances in English football, and would be an experienced option for Wanderers to consider.

Diagouraga's contract expires on 6th January, so he will be available for free.
