Three points are an absolute must for Bolton Wanderers, who find themselves back at the foot of the Championship following last week’s hammering at Wolves.
The good news is that we have a great record against today’s opponents Barnsley. Bolton have won five of the last six meetings between the two sides, including the last three, not tasted defeat to Barnsley in 11 matches since 1998 and not lost to them at home since 1994.
Phil Parkinson does mix it up from that Wolves defeat by making one change, with Will Buckley coming in for Adam Armstrong, who has finally been dropped. Reece Burke also comes in for the suspended David Wheater, while Adam Le Fondre remains on the substitutes bench where he’s joined by Aaron Wilbraham, oh joys.
Barnsley look to be playing a 4-3-3 with Adam Hammill and Harvey Barnes providing the wide support to Tom Bradshaw and lively midfielder Brad Potts will need to be watched.
Here are today’s starting lineups. You can follow all the action in the Comments section below, where you can also let us know your thoughts on all things Wanderers.
