Out of the relegation zone, 18 points off the play offs. What a time to be alive!
Bolton took the leas through Gary Madine after a Mark Little cross. Within 60 seconds Barnsley had won and scored a penalty. Typical Bolton and it looked like it might be another frustrating day in the office.
Bolton though won a penalty of their own when Will Buckley was taken down following up a Darren Pratley effort. Madine took the penalty and popped it in down the middle. A rubbish penalty, but it went in and that’s all that matters.

Barnsley then grew into a game which Bolton had been dominating completely. Again it looked like it could be a frustrating day, but Bolton were able to grab a third during the second half thanks to Little.
3-1 would be the end result and it was enough to get Bolton above Birmingham City on goals scored, a position we should maintain when Birmingham inevitably lose to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday night.
We need to go on another run now and try to move up the table a bit. Its Nottingham Forest followed by Burton Albion now. Both are games where we can look to get a result, and beating Burton in particular would be a massive boost.
