LOVS Fantasy Football: GW20

Kane wraps up his record record breaking year in style as Spurs tear Southampton apart.

Tottenham Hotspur v Southampton - Premier League

Harry Kane was an important part of Bolton Squanderers LOVS league high 122 points. His second successive hat trick racked up a second successive 17 points. He misses the next game week before, illness permitting, playing Swansea City followed by West Ham United.

Roberto Firmino was also amongst the points and as the game week captain racked up 26 points. One of the Liverpool attacking quintet is a must and this team also boasts Mohamed Salah who had a relatively quiet game week with only 9 points. They will without a doubt keep on picking up points in the weeks to come.

Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling and Nicholas Otamendi were once again amongst the points. Sterling is going to have to pull a blinder to flop for England in Russia at this rate as his tremendous season continues. Manchester City have the meanest defence out of the top six clubs and Otamendi grabbed some bonus points to boot.

Jesse Lingard when Manchester United vs Burnley kicked off would have looked like a disappointing pick this week. He did though come on at half time and grab a brace as United turned the game on its head. He is having by far his best Premier League season. Again I’m not sure how he is going to bring himself down to England’s level along with Kane who will probably forget where the goal is.

Cesar Azpilicueta had another stellar game week picking up 12 points. Everton’s Jordan Pickford also had a good week picking up 10 points in the goalless draw with Chelsea. Shkodran Mustafi also had a good game week thanks to his goal in Arsenal’s 3-2 win at Crystal Palace. Jonjoe Kenny was also able to pick up 6 points in Everton’s draw. We all know what Big Sam is capable of and he has transformed the Toffees defence since taking over.

The one let down in the team was Stoke City’s Xherdan Shaqiri. It has been a good few weeks since he gained more than 3 points. He is a player capable of making a big impact but will always struggle to do so consistently in a struggling team.
