After a thoroughly poor effort at Middlesbrough on Boxing Day, Phil Parkinson has really switched things up for today’s trip to high-flying Sheffield United.
I think he’s switched back to the old 3-5-2 formation, and - hold onto your chair - he’s even brought back Adam Le Fondre. West Ham loanees Reece Burke and Josh Cullen make a return to the starting line-up, as does Filipe Morais who I expect to play at right wing-back.
Sheffield United also look to have gone with a three at the back, which may have inspired Parky’s thinking. The main danger men will of course be free-scoring strikers Billy Sharp and Leon Clarke, who have 22 league goals between them this season - one goal less than our entire team!
Here are today’s starting line-ups. Stay up to date with all the action from Bramall Lane in the Comments section below, and feel free to let us know your thoughts on the game and all things Wanderers below.
