Live updates as Wanderers cross the Pennines to visit league leaders Sheffield United

Today is a massive day at the top of League One, as third placed Bolton Wanderers pay a visit to leaders Sheffield United. Three points would be an absolute dream today, but realistically we'll take not getting beaten.

Recent clashes between the two sides are positive in our favour, as Bolton have won the last three games in all competitions, only lost two of the ten clashes with Sheffield United this millennium, and only lost twice to them in 16 matches since 1994.

But apparently Bolton haven't won an away league match in February since 2008 - some nine years ago! That day was a 2-0 win at Reading thanks to goals from Kevin Nolan and Heidar Helguson. What a day this would be to set that dreadful record straight.

Today's game has a bizarre subplot after Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder randomly took offence to comments Bolton striker Gary Madine made on social media about top scorer in League One Billy Sharp being 'fat.' And now Madine isn't even in the Bolton squad, with Marc Iles revealing he saw Parky pull the striker to one side pre-game then the striker headed back to the team bus. How bizarre.

The more crazy thing is that he is replaced by Conor Wilkinson, who'll lead the line alongside Adam Le Fondre. Fortunately for Wilkinson, he'll be made to look like an actual footballer as Dean Moxey also starts, while James Henry seems likely to start behind the strikers with Josh Vela filling in for the suspended Jay Spearing. Mark Howard returns in goal after Ben Alnwick's shocker at Bradford last week.

Here are today's starting lineups, keep in touch with all the action from Bramall Lane in the Comments section below.
