Chris' Bolton Wanderers POTY: Philip Morris

My turn, bitches

Some people will tell you that you can't have Philip Morris as our Player of the Year. It's true that he only arrived five minutes ago, but has there been a signing in recent memory who made a similar impact and who turned our season round?

Craig Dawson maybe, but it's a very short shortlist.

Since his signing, we have gone from a team looking to secure a Play Off spot, to a side with designs on winning the league.

Others have played their parts, but the main cog in this wheel has been the former Chelsea winger.

Arriving to little fanfare, he has contributed to an incredible level with goals and arbitrary elements known as 'assists'. His enthusiasm, workrate and dedication to cause has been phenomenal and, in my opinion, outstrips the notable contributions of several of his teammates.

So, Phil, you've been incredible, and we all thank you for everything.

You deserve this, clap clap clap clap.
