Player Ratings: Bolton Wanderers 1-1 Wimbledon

Another grim afternoon at the Reebok

JONES UK WIMBLEDON CHAMPIONSHIPS

Sigh. That wasn't much fun.

Bolton Wanderers laboured again at home - this time against AFC Wimbledon.

Onto my ratings:

Ben Alnwick - 7

Couldn't do anything about their goal, and came to our rescue when we needed him the most. A much-needed returned to form.

Mark Beevers - 4

Perhaps his worst outing in a white shirt. Roughed up by their aggressive no.9, Beevers was physically bested on every occasion, and looked rattled throughout.

David Wheater - 5

Slightly better than Beevers, Wheater should've scored with an early chance right in front of the goal.

Dorian Dervite - 5

The memories of last season remain strong in the mind, and Dervite at right back is never ever something to be cherished. His distribution was, as we have expected it to be, very poor, and he was easily beaten by their striker for the equaliser.

Philip Morris - 6

Another who started brightly but faded, his free-kick against the bar was a highlight, but his miss towards the end less so.

Andy Taylor - 5

Continued his recent poor form with another dicey outing. Not sure he suits the 3-5-2 at all.

Derik Osede - 6

Was brilliant in the first ten minutes, the 80 after that was pretty much appalling. His initial energy and passing ability went missing, and he was often outmuscled by him Wimbledon counterpart.

Tom Thorpe - 0

A virtually pointless and worthless performance. Absent when it came to the rough stuff, and poor when involved at all. Worst outing in a Bolton shirt.

Josh Vela - 5

Another poor game from Vela. His touch in the first half was abysmal, and he looked tired after an hour.

Gary Madine - 6

Had the best ten minutes of his Bolton Wanderers career and capped it with a brilliant header. The rest of his game was forgettable and was given an easy ride by fans upon his return from suspension for refusing to be sub last weekend.

Adam Le Fondre - 5

Barely a sniff. It's starting to become a problem.

Subs

James Henry - 4

Another disappointing performance from the man - something we have become used to, unfortunately.

1-1 and we still didn't bring Conor Wilkinson on.
