Apologies for the extreme close-up on his face, but I felt that the Man of the Match from last night's dour 0-0 draw at home to Bury deserved to be put front and centre.
Bolton Wanderers struggled to break down a steadfast Bury defence, but despite our woes a few chinks of light came through.
I thought Josh Vela ran himself in the ground. Adam Le Fondre similarly worked tirelessly and Philip Morris was his usual busy self - despite the lack of an end product courtesy of our Gary Madine-less attack.
However, my Bolton Wanderers MOTM goes to the great man himself, to David Wheater.
A colossus at the back, Wheater did very well against the physical threat of Pope (no.11) and the pace of James Vaughan (no.12).
He was a menace from set pieces too - and can count himself unlucky with a 35 yard thunderbolt which stung the keeper's hands in the second half.
In a game that was somewhat low on quality, his consistency throughout makes him a deserving recipient.
