According to The Daily Record, Bolton Wanderers are set to compete with Ipswich Town and Sheffield United for Aberdeen FC winger Niall McGinn.
The article states:
"Ipswich Town are the latest club to register an interest in Aberdeen winger Niall McGinn .
The Northern Ireland winger will leave Pittodrie when his deal runs out in the summer and several English sides are chasing his signature.
McGinn is wanted by the likes of Sheffield United and Bolton Wanderers – who had scouts at Dens Park on Friday to see him score in the Dons’ 7-0 demolition of Dundee.
He’s been offered a pre-contract agreement from both Hearts and Oxford United for next season."
Niall McGinn was previously linked to Wanderers back in 2015, when it was speculated Bolton were eyeing a £500,000 move for the Northern Ireland international.
Former Celtic FC winger McGinn, now 29, has scored 68 goals in 215 games for Aberdeen since joining the club in 2012.
McGinn is no stranger to English football, having had a loan spell with Brenford in the 2011/2012 season, prior to joining Aberdeen.
As well as being a winger, McGinn has previously played as a striker for both club and country, so could very well add some versatility to the Whites' front line.
