Twenty Years of Bolton Wanderers at the Reebok: Top 20 Moments Countdown - No.1

Two decades in the blink of an eye

A general view of the Reebok Stadium

Here we are - the winner in our countdown of the best moments since the Reebok Stadium opened.

It might be topical and it might even be predictable, but I don't care.

This weekend's game between Bolton Wanderers and Peterborough United was a decent enough tussle, but what would follow has etched it into the fabric of our club forever.

Promotion whilst under embargo, would have been unthinkable at the start of the season, but Phil Parkinson and his mates brought everything together in one package and earned the club the chance of a future.

Oblivion avoided.

At full time the fans invaded the pitch in a release of pure emotion unlike anything we've seen since Preston North End in 1993. It has taken two decades for the Reebok to experience something like this, but it was absolutely worth the wait.

Here are some of my favourite videos from the day. I hope you enjoy watching them as much as I do.

Come on you Whites.
