Now Bolton Wanderers are back in the Championship, it's likely we're going to hear lots of transfer rumours. Some will have a grain of truth, whilst others will be pure fiction. Some seemingly fake twitter account will pluck a rumour from thin air, like the rumour I'm sharing today.
#BWFC looking at #Posh midfielder Marcus Maddison

Decent player, and transfer listed at #PUFC
One of several options.
According to the tweet above, Bolton Wanderers are eyeing up a move for Peterborough United playmaker, Marcus Maddison.
Whilst I don't believe this rumour, and despite the fact he put in a poor showing at The Macron last Sunday, Maddison is an interesting player, and one I wouldn't mind Bolton signing.
The former Newcastle United player Maddison, still only 23, has been with The Posh since 2014. Like many Peterborough players, Maddison was plucked from non-league, having been brought in from Gateshead.
Since then, Maddison has scored thirty goals in 124 games for Peterborough. Comfortable playing out wide or as a number 10, Maddison has been transfer listed by The Posh. It's club policy that any player in the final year of his contract is put on the transfer list.
This season, Maddison topped the assists charts with 17, whilst also chipping in with 9 goals.
If he's available for the right price, I think Maddison would be a shrewd signing for Wanderers.
