Hot on the heels of last month's news that Bolton Wanderers wanted to sign Manchester City whizzkid Bersant Celina on loan, news has now emerged that we face competition from two of the smaller clubs in the Championship for his services, namely Leeds United and Ipswich Town.
Celina said, when questioned about this development, said "The plan is to play in the Championship. I’ll try to find a club. It will be one of them . So, we’ll see.”.
As we already know, Celina is a creative midfielder who spent last season on loan - and was wanted back again by - FC Twente in Holland, where he scored five goals in 27 appearances in the Eredivise.
The Kosovan midfielder has been at City for some time now and bald sensation Pep Guardiola has clearly decided it is high time that he experienced first team football in the rough and tumble of the Championship.
