As reported by Fox Sports NL, long time Bolton Wanderers target Nick Kuipers has joined Eredivisie side ADO Den Haag. The article states:
"ADO The Hague will strengthen with Nick Kuipers. The central defender is transferred from MVV Maastricht to the transfer and signs for four years. The 24-year-old leader of the Jupiler League number seven was also in the interest of Bolton Wanderers, but ADO proved to be the most effective.
"This is a nice reward for Nick, after a great season," says Attorney Danny Ris to FOX Sports. "In the coming days, the transfer will be finalized." Kuipers could also sign at MVV, but decided to leave after missing out on the promotion. The step towards the Eredivisie is therefore a logical continuation."
Kuipers was on trial with Wanderers back in January 2015 when Neil Lennon was in charge, and was also linked with a move back at the start of the year.
