Would Conor McLaughlin be a good signing for Wanderers?

As reported by Sun 'reporter' Alan Nixon on twitter, Bolton Wanderers face competition from Leeds United and Millwall for Fleetwood right back Conor McLaughlin.

McLaughlin, 25, has been with Fleetwood Town since 2012, and has scored 9 times in 198 games in a five year spell.

McLaughlin will leave Fleetwood on a free transfer, having been named in the EFL League One team of the year.

Conor McLaughlin began his career with Preston North End, making 28 appearances before leaving for Fleetwood.

McLaughlin also has plenty of international experience, having played for Northern Ireland 22 times since his debut in 2011.

He was a member of the Northern Ireland side that played at Euro 2016 last year.

There's no doubt McLaughlin would be a fantastic addition to Wanderers' side, but can the club afford to add another right back?

With Mark Little and Filipe Morais capable of playing the right wing back position, it may be better for Bolton to sign players in other positions while Wanderers remain under an embargo.
