The article states:
“WILL BUCKLEY is on the brink of joining Bolton following Sunderland’s relegation.
Phil Parkinson has beaten competition from three other Championship teams to land the winger.
Buckley, 27, is allowed to leave the Stadium of Light on a free transfer after failing to beat the drop in the Premier League last season.
He did not play a part in their campaign under David Moyes as he was on loan at Sheffield Wednesday.
And he is set to return to the second tier as Parkinson wants his experience in his squad following promotion from League One.”
Will Buckley, 27, is leaving Sunderland after a three year stint in the North East. Buckley only made 24 appearances for The Black Cats, with a large part of his Sunderland career spent out on loan.
Buckley's most prolific and notable moment of his career was his time with Brighton & Hove Albion from 2011 to 2014. The winger spent three years with The Seagulls, scoring 19 times in 109 games.
If Buckley can regain the form he showed at Brighton, he could prove to be a very shrewd signing for Phil Parkinson.
