According to HITC Sport, Bolton Wanderers are interested in a loan deal for Watford FC defender Tommie Hoban.
The article states:
"Watford defender Tommie Hoban is a target for Queens Park Rangers, Bolton Wanderers and Sheffield United on loan next season, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club. Hoban spent last season on loan at Blackburn, but saw his spell at Ewood Park restricted by a dislocated shoulder injury.
The 23-year-old made only 16 appearances during his time at Blackburn because of the injury, but he impressed despite the club suffering relegation from the Championship."
Hoban began his youth career with Arsenal, before moving on to sign for Watford in 2009. Hoban broke into the Watford first team in the 2011/2012 season, and has gone on to score two goals in 58 games.
Hoban has also represented Ireland’s U21 side, making 11 appearances from 2014 to 2016.
With cover for Wheater and Beevers needed, Wanderers have also been linked with Liverpool's Lloyd Jones, although that was quashed at the weekend.
The most likely scenario is Dorian Dervite getting a new deal in my opinion.
Would Hoban be a good signing? Let us know in the comments box below.
