After a couple of intense days superagenting around superagent towers, Bolton Wanderers' favourite emoji peddler has seemingly let the cat out of the bag - Sammy Ameobi is to sign for Bolton on a permanent basis.
The former Newcastle United man did well in fits and starts last season during the successful promotion campaign and his signing has been called for over the summer by a portion of the club's younger supporters and now it seems like their wish has been granted by the club.
The flighty attacking wide player has frustrated fans at Newcastle, Middlesbrough and Cardiff City during loan moves in his career to date, and for a 25 year old has less than 120 games under his belt, so you'd have to think that the chance of regular football and a permanent home would be attractive for the player.
Where will he fit in the Bolton side? We have Filipe Morais, Will Buckley and now Sammy Ameobi who can all play down the right hand side. Who will be first choice? All are fairly versatile which speaks to Parkinson's desire to improve our squad depth.
Sort of want.
