According to Kosovo website telegrafi, Bolton Wanderers have made a offer to sign Sheffield Wednesday striker, Atdhe Nuhiu.
The article states:
“Sheffield Wendsday footballer and Kosovo striker Atdhe Nuhiu have requests from major English clubs Fulham and Bolton as well as Spartak Moscow.
In a conversation about presheva.com, Fatherland has revealed his future.
"My future will be decided by mid-August. I have the offer from Fulham and Bolton, pot also edhr from Spartacus of Moscow. Everything will be decided by the middle of next month, "said striker Atdhe Nuhiu.”
Atdhe Nuhiu, 27, has been with Sheffield Wednesday since 2013. The Kosovo international has scored 24 times for The Owls in 163 games. Before Wednesday, Nuhiu has spent time playing in Austria and Turkey.
Seen as a target man up front, standing at 6ft 5, Nuhiu would be competition for Gary Madine. Another prolific goal scorer would still need to be signed though alongside Nuhiu.
With 72 goals in 377 games, Nuhiu has proven he can still pitch in with a goal or two when needed.
Nuhiu has one year remaining on his Wednesday contract, so it would be safe to assume that Wanderers would be interested in a loan deal for the striker. Although, maybe Wednesday are willing to let him go for free.
Would Atdhe Nuhiu be a good signing for Wanderers? Let us know in the comments box below.
