Bolton Wanderers are closing in on a swoop for Chelsea keeper Jamal Blackman, according to Goal. The article states:
"The 24-year-old shot stopper is set to join the Trotters on loan. Blackman has agreed an extension to his deal at Stamford Bridge after an impressive campaign with Wycombe last season.
The 24-year-old's contract had enterred its last year but he has agreed an extension to facilitate the loan move, as Chelsea don't permit temporary moves for players in the final years of their deals.
Blackman was fantastic last season at League Two side Wycombe Wanderers, and that has seen him jump up to newly promoted Bolton in the Championship. Ex-Manchester United keeper Ben Amos is set to depart the Macron Stadium and Blackman will compete with Ben Alnwick for a starting spot."
Blackman has yet to play for Chelsea, but has spent time on loan at Middlesbrough and Wycombe Wanderers, whom he played 52 times for last season.
